Armor: The Egg Fleet ships were armored to provide In protection against Physical attacks and Rm protection against Energy attacks.
Weapons: The Egg Fleet had a variety of weapons systems. Characteristics of major systems are given below:
-Turret Laser Cannons: Am Energy or Force, 10 areas
-Transporter Beams: Am teleportation beam that transports the victim into the Egg Grape Chamber, 10 areas
-Missile Launchers: Missile Launcher fired up to 8 air-to-air missiles at once. Each missile was self-guiding with the following statistics:

Since Dr. Eggman's arrival in the prime universe, he had suffered consecutive defeats at the hands of Sonic the Hedgehog and the Freedom Fighters. After years of enduring "war games", Eggman finally began the construction of the Egg Fleet, a force which would ultimately destroy his enemies and secure his rule over Mobius. After months of construction, the fleet was finally completed.
The Egg Fleet was first employed in its early development during the fight between Mammoth Mogul, Ixis Naugus, the Destructix and the Arachne verses the the Knothole Freedom Fighters and the Chaotix. Dr. Eggman had the Egg Fleet arrive on the scene after both parties were battle-weary, using it to capture and imprison Naugus, the Arachne, Mogul and the Destructix in the Egg Grape Chambers, leaving Sonic and the Freedom Fighters to witness the capabilities of the Egg Fleet.
With the location of the Kingdom of Knothole known to him, Eggman dispatched the entire Egg Fleet. He had his nephew Snively distract the Knothole Freedom Fighters by attacking Freedom HQ, transporting many of them to the Egg Grape Chambers. Meanwhile, the Egg Fleet homed in on the kingdom and began its assault. Without any defence against the aerial bombardment, everything within Knothole was destroyed, including the Lake of Rings, Castle Acorn and even Uncle Chuck's Chilidog stand.
With the help of NICOLE, Amy Rose, Tails and Knuckles, Sonic was able to rescue the citizes from the Egg Grape Chambers, relocating them all to the nanite city, rechristened New Mobotropolis. The city was protected by an energy barrier, which kept it safe from all outside forces. Eggman had Snively control the Egg Fleet and attack the city, though its protective shield was able to withstand their constant attack.
The Egg Fleet came under attack by Snively's step-sister Hope, who had flow in on her recently-created airplane. Her craft was only able to cause superficial damage to some of the ships in the fleet, but Snively hesitated to shoot her down, possibly allowing her to escape. After Eggman was defeated by the Freedom Fighters, he withdrew from New Mobotropolis, along with the Egg Fleet.
While the New Enerjak was engaged in battle against the combined might of the Freedom Fighters and the Chaotix, Dr. Eggman arrived on the scene with the Egg Fleet, and transported the off-guard demi-god to upgraded Egg Grapes. However, Enerjak broke free from his confines, and during his subsequent attack on New Megopolis, Enerjak obliterated the entire Egg Fleet.
