Caterkiller

Caterkiller was one of the first badniks to fight Sonic the Hedgehog, attempting to block Sonic's path before being smothered and segmented by a wave of Mega-Muck.

He was mostly seen in crowd scenes for badniks including some run-ins at Casino Night Zone, an ambush on a staged wedding between Sonic and Princess Sally, before becoming the first badnik to fight Sonic at the Robo-Hobo Jungle. Sonic pointed out that Caterkiller was the first badnik Sonic encountered. Sonic managed to get some information regarding Nack the Weasel from Caterkiller after segmenting Caterkiller again (twice) and threatening to drag Caterkiller's head against the road at Sonic speed.

When Sonic decided to investigate the Island of Misfit Badniks, Caterkiller and numerous other badniks ambushed him. Sonic quickly trashed them, segmenting Caterkiller again, before Pseudo Sonic entered the fray. After this fight caused the island to sink, with the badniks faking their deaths, Caterkiller, referred to as a Commodore, watched Sonic dash away, completely oblivious to the badniks' survival. He promised that they would meet again soon.

Their revenge scheme of enlarging Pseudo Sonic was interrupted by the Forty Fathom Freedom Fighters, who kept smashing up badniks foolish enough to stop them. Caterkiller led the last wave consisting of Jaws, Bat Brain, and Buzzbomber. Caterkiller was able to wrap himself around Ray before Pseudo Sonic knocked them all away. Big Fluke sat on Pseudo Sonic and crushed all of the badniks, including all of Caterkiller's segments, into a cube.
