Amy Rose is a young, carefree hedgehog who has had a crush on Sonic the Hedgehog for years. Not much is known about her family or her past, except that she was from the Kingdom of Mercia, sent to Knothole by her cousin Rob O' the Hedge. She is currently a part of the Knothole Freedom Fighters and is still trying to win Sonic's affections.
