Long before Dr. Eggman showed up, Abyss was a fearsome and renowned pirate. She eventually joined the Eggman Empire as the Egg Boss of the Southern Oceans Egg Army and benefited greatly from her new resources, allowing her to continue her plundering with an entire armada. She was summoned by Dr. Eggman to help reclaim Eggmanland from the Naugus Twins and the Witchcarters.
