Antoine D'Coolette

Antoine was guarding Knothole as Uncle Chuck investigated the recent tremors affecting the planet, as well as the mysterious purple gas seeping from the ground. Sonic and Tails arrived in the village, after being informed by Rotor of their location, and reacted with glee at seeing their formerly fallen friend on his feet again: a response that catches Antoine completely off guard. After some persuasion, Tails hands him Nicole, and his memories of the old timeline come flooding back, from his early cowardice, to his marriage to Bunnie, to his valiant sacrifice for Elias Acorn, the latter of which left Ant in a state of shock, as Sonic reassured him that it had only left him in a coma rather than killing him. Despite his friends asking him to come along, he refuses as he wants to keep an eye on Uncle Chuck and his research while they go and hunt down Bunnie. When asked what to tell her, he says to tell her that "[He] is well, but [he] will not be whole" until they're together again.

Antoine rushed back to Sky Patrol, and met Sonic, Tails and Bunnie on their return from Metropolis Zone. He returned quickly to be with Bunnie when she had her memories restored. She fell into his embrace, crying, as she tried to digest the differences between the two sets of memories, especially the fact that she had her full natural body back in the other reality. He did his best to comfort her.
